How to care for lash extension

Extra careful for first 24 hours
The adhesive used for eyelash extensions needs a full 24 hours to set. “To be safe, avoid excessive heat for the first couple of days as well—that includes saunas and hot yoga classes.

Make up & Remover

When removing your eye makeup (liner, shadow, etc.), gently go over the area with a cleansing wipe instead of placing cotton pads or puffs over your lids—not only could you eventually weaken the extensions and mess them up, the cotton fibers get stuck on lashes. Advoid Oil-Based Products
Take a closer look at the ingredient list on the eye creams, makeup removers, and creme shadows you currently have in your arsenal—you’ll want to take a break from anything that contains oil. Oil can degrade the adhesive and shorten the life of your lash extensions. Your lashes are already fuller and longer so you don’t really need mascara for a dramatic effect. Mascara can weigh down the extensions, weakening them and causing them to break off from your real lashes.

Comb them out

To prevent any criss-crossing or wonky-looking lashes, use a spoolie wand. Close one eye, place the spoolie on top of your lashes, then roll the brush over lashes to keep them defined.

Get Refills Regularly

Touch-ups are part of maintaining long lasting eyelash extensions. Only spots that need to be replaced due to natural eyelash growth are done. It’s a quick visit that’s only needed every 10-14 days, but it keeps your lashes looking amazing.
